I hope this letter helps to raise awareness for individuals who are victims of illegal satellite TV and IKS key purchases online. Like many others, I was convinced that IKS key sellers online were running legitimate businesses, and were advertised as easy setup or money back. And of course, the keys never worked reliably, and they never gave the money back.
I recently received a demand letter from Nagrastar, and an attorney helped explain that the IKS key purchases were in fact, illegal. Had I known this in advance, I would not have made the purchase. I hope this letter clarifies for others that any advertisements for IKS keys is illegal, and to please consider using legitimate methods for satellite TV programming.
