I purchased a “fta” (free to air) receiver partly to update our aging analog tv so that we could receive free, local hd channels and partly because I thought I might be able to view satellite channels that run open and free similar to “c” band satellite channels I had heard about. I realize now it was a mistake to purchase a iks code, no free channels were available with the system. I apologize to any and all parties for any trouble this has caused.
