SFR’s parent Altice France said that an action plan implemented during 2018 to strengthen its anti-piracy efforts is reaping the first rewards. A recent investigation into an organisation suspected of content piracy has led to the closure of a number of websites. The individuals responsible face prosecution by police officers working within a special division dedicated to media and IT related crimes, known as OCLCTIC (Office Central de Lutte contre la Criminalité liée aux Technologies de l’Information et de la Communication).
